On Farm Work Health and Safety

Information provided by SafeWork SA

Agriculture is unique – on a farm your workplace is often your home too. Because of this, the people you need to keep safe at your workplace include your own family as well as workers, visitors, and more importantly, children.

Persons Conducting a Business or Undertaking must ensure that workers and other people at the workplace are not exposed to health and safety risks.

Quad bike safety – know how to ride and survive

Each year in Australia approximately 15 to 20 people are killed in quad bike incidents, with young people between 10 and 24 at a much higher risk of injury.
